Shopify POS is still the omnichannel choice if you already run Shopify. POS Lite is included; POS Pro is $129/location on top of Basic $56 / Grow $149 / Advanced $575 (ex GST), so a single Pro store is $185/month before GST and hardware. WisePad 3 is $79. Data is not in Australia. AU sellers cannot take eftpos while Shopify POS is offline. Do not buy it as a cheap brick-and-mortar-only till.

Shopify POS shares a single back office with your Shopify online store. Inventory, orders, customers, and product data sync automatically across all channels — online store, physical retail, markets, and pop-ups — so you never oversell and customers get a consistent experience.
- EFTPOS & Contactless Payments
Online: Visa, Mastercard, eftpos, Amex, UnionPay, Apple Pay, Google Pay via WisePad 3 ($79) or POS Terminal ($419). AU help: eftpos is not available in offline card mode.
- Smart Inventory Management (POS Pro)
POS Pro: counts, purchase orders, low-stock alerts, transfers. POS Lite is casual selling — not the Pro inventory suite.
- Staff Management & Permissions (POS Pro)
Set unique staff PINs, assign roles with granular permissions, track individual staff sales performance, and control access to discounts, returns, and register management. Available on POS Pro only.
